happy go lucky and late for the fair
looking for something to happen to be
maybe it's something or maybe it's me
we'll see in due time never mind
thinking about nothing but being in time
making up poems and sometimes they rhyme
in the night i will be
thinking 'bout nothing but being in tune
poking my notes as i howl at the moon
in the night i will be free
free as the breeze
free as
the breeze never holds to the things that it loves
passing it waves on its way through the day
holding the birds as they go on their way
it'd be fine
to be free as the breeze
